NOV 12 PAID,  Storer forwarder, "2", LONDON PAID 23 NOV 67, "48" (British packet credit) and "Via Marseilles" on front, Hong Kong transit and small MANILA 13 JAN 68 receiver on reverse.

Another example of the 53c via Marseilles single rate. The cover departed New York on November 13 on the Cunarder "RUSSIA".

Contents refer to the sinking of the Spanish vessel "Minerva",  the failure of Mr. Hubbell of New York and Mr. Robt. Taylor, the recent Presidential election and possible impeachment and the death of Gov. Andrew.
