FREE PHILIPPINES GUERRILLA STAMPS
Guerrilla stamps were letterpress printed in Australia by the firm of Simpson, Halligan and Company of Brisbane, in sheets of 25, rouletted in the value of 2 centavos. The stamps were delivered to Col. Fertig's Headquarters by the U.S. Navy supply submarine USS NARWHAL, when she docked at Nasipit, Agusan, in guerrilla held territory on November 15,1943. Only 20 sheets were delivered to Col. Fertig.
