Webmaster notation:
In 1996,  I had the opportunity to visit the towns of Barili, Moalboal and Oslob and was able to talk to World War II residents of the said towns. Having lived in Cebu until 1972, thus conversant in the Cebuano dialect
I was informed by the residents, majority were personally introduced to me by my friends, that a resistance movement did exist during the war. However, none of them was aware of the existence of the so called Southern Cebu Forces stamp issue.
