SENDER'S NAME and ADDRESS ON ALL MAIL

This renained in forced throughout the Japanese Occupation period 
and was lifted for several days during the 1943 Christmas period where 
greeting cards were processed without the sender's address.

"This X'mascard without sender's name and / 
or address is being forwarded as a special case. 
No other mail will be delivered to you without such requirement. / 
Director of Communications"

Greeting card envelope with Showa "17/12/22" (December 22, 1942) 
manuscript date on  purple censor mark
and "Kozakae" vermilion personal seal.


VIGAN to MANILA                               1942, SEPTEMBER 26
commercial cover with 5c Provisional for single domestic rate.
With purple censor mark.
