Imposed effective March 4, 1942, on the reopening of postal service in Manila.
Remained enforced on all mail matters throughout the Philippines until June 30, 1943.

Censoring Method
Bottom seal or reseal used only in Manila. Printed in black on manila paper.
Japanese characters read: "Dai Nippon Kempeitai Ken'etzu Zumi"
or "Censored by the Japanese Military Police Corps".
