Empress of Asia.

There is a belief that this is not an "on board" device
but that of a Manila shipping agent.
It was a common practice in the 1930s that letters mail
on board foreign liners were given
to the purser who then turned over the letters upon port
arrival to the shipping agent.
The agent then applied the "Paquebot" marking so that
foreign franked
mail to be accepted at the Manila Post Office.
