For Use At The Manila Post Office

"Bureau of Posts / PHILIPPINE ARCHIPELAGO." heading in old English and sans serif characters on cream card stock.

All English text. 

"MANILA / PHILIPPINE ISLANDS." large bold imprint on front. Year date on reverse in "190 __" format.

"From Post Office at Manila, P.I."
in bold text on the reverse.

Reported to be first used when the Bureau
of Posts issued the 1906 "PHILIPPINE ISLANDS" Regular Issues. This form
remained in use until early 1915.
1907 JANUARY 3: MANILA to PAGSANJAN, LAGUNA
Received PAGSANJAN on January 3, with the parcel claimed on January 8.
"MANILA / PHILIPPINE ISLANDS" crossed out as sender used his
MIDDLEVILLE, MICHIGAN as return address. Received February 11.
Known to be used in the provinces although printed for use at the Manila Post Office.

The existence of a similar card issued for provincial use is highly possible.
