1943 OCTOBER 7: SHRUB OAK, NEW YORK to PHILIPPINES Addrssed to a British Civilian Internee and returned to the sender as stipulated by checked items 1 and 2 by a U.S. Censor on Form 1698. Address has been taped out to ensure that the envelope was returned.
Posted on August 21,1943, this allowed sufficient time for the parcel to get to New York for the September 2nd sailing. Tag with detailed listing of parcel contents and value with a weight of 8 pounds 7 ounces. The third voyage of the "M.S.
