Posted on August 21,1943, this allowed sufficient time for the parcel to get to New York for the September 2nd sailing. Tag with detailed listing of parcel contents and value with a weight of 8 pounds 7 ounces.

The third voyage of the "M.S. Gripsholm" departed New York on September 2, 1943 carrying mail and relief supplies for the P.O.W.'s interned by the Japanese.
