Manila Bay
At its peak the Corregidor camp housed more than 300 enlisted men and officers. On April 27, 1943, Lt. Col. Lewis Kirkpatrick, the most senior officer in the camp, dies of pneumonia. Majority of the prisoners moved to Manila in June 1943.

Major Albert J. Kircher served with the engineers on both Bataan and Corregidor. He was captured detained on Corregidor and later moved to Cabanatuan. He died on one of the Japanese transport hellships.
