in the Philippines when the Cavite Post Office was in the process
of being transfered to Manila.

The other cover in the Fritz-Walter Lange collection,
from 2nd Lt. Elmer H. Thomas, addressed to Samuel T. Thomas
of New Brighton, Pennsylvania. Also received San Francisco, September 4,
and New Brighton, September 9.

U.S. Forces landed in Cavite on July 1, 1898.
