Dear Friends,

I am writing this in advance. Three weeks ago I contracted Alex C. Padagas, a high school student to gather together all the pre-war stamp issues currently on site, in particular from the Archives section and consolidate them into one collection with the intent of having a comprehensive illustrated U.S.P.I. catalog on the web.

This first upload to be done by Alex Padagas while I am out of town, is a revision and upgrade of what was previously the 1898 - 1904 overprint PHILIPPINES Collection. This has been expanded to include the 1906 - 1925 PHILIPPINE ISLANDS Definitives, the imperforates and selected back of the book issues.
Time, resources and availability of images permitting, I hope to complete the whole listing on or before the end of the year. As a result of this illustrated catalog project which has been repeatedly suggested to me several Archive entries and collections will be deleted as they will become redundant. The following have been removed: Legislative Palace collection and entries in the Archives, Madrid-Manila and selected 1899-1904 issues in the Archives section.

Please take note of the above underscore. I no longer have a USPI collection and therefore dependent on what I can pick up here and there. If you wish to accelerate the completion of this project, send me a note so I can give you a list of the issues required. There will also be a need for special items like plate singles and plate blocks, varieties and errors. You can also help by filling in the blanks on some of the current pages. So if you have them please send them to this address: abrahamluspojr@gmail.com

Please provide us with images of the following, at least 200 to 300dpi scans:
463: 2c Rizal Rose on 411
463B: 2c Rizal Rose on 433
E7: Small Commonwealth Special Delivery
E10 and E10a: Victory Special Delivery
O42: 20c Light Olive Green Official
U42A: 2c Green Postal Envelope
Add to the above the 1p VICTORY. What I have now is a damaged example.

Thank you and CONTRIBUTE!!!!

Tommy Sim
