CUARTOS SCARLET - VERMILION:
The dots of
circle very irregular; the letters on the top label irregular in height,
notably the
"OS" of "CORREOS" lower than the other letters.
1863 1 REAL
GREEN: Lettering is very irregular. On the word "CORREOS",
the "C" has
a small opening, the two "R" narrower, the two "O" rounder
and the tail
of "S" also longer. The "F" on the bottom panel is fat
with the white
period after it almost missing, the ornament at the left panel
near the center
is not complete, the diagonal lines outside the circle
is rather
crude, the shading bellow the chin if Isabella is curving upwards
and too dark.
In the genuine stamp the shading is lighter
and on a downward
direction.
