1854. Edifil 3. 1 real blue-grey, good margins, BISECTED on piece. Tied cork round circle. Only another I0c carmine on piece and one I0c rose bisected on cover known. This is the only 1 Real that we have seen. Outstanding First Issue rarity of Philippines. The 1r blue grey appeared during the first group of stamps issued, and Ir de Plata is equivalent to 20 cuartos, the postage of this bisected stamp = 10 cuartos paid an internal letter above half ounce (2nd rate).
