return address of I.R.O. Guinan, Samar, P.I., to U.S. Information Service,
Canton, China with Philippine postage cancelled by Guiuan Jun 11 1949 duplex
postmarks on reverse. VF cond., slightly reduced at L, couple off letters
light on IRO marking.
Comments:
A beautiful cover. Realized price indicate that there is a solid and stable
market for IRO covers. 98c total franking in three colors ,short by 2c
the 1p double outbound air mail rate. |
