Two civilian
yellow internment cards from Camp 3, Baguio. These printed cards were the
only ones used for outgoing mail from civilian internees.
The top card
from a mother to her relative and the second, from her son to the same
person (uncle perhaps). Note that the signature on the top card erased
and replaced with a typed name.
The bottom
card mentions the boy's promotion to "second grade" which perhaps indicate
that life inside the camp was sort of "normal." |
