| This as only the second time
that I have seen the Type IIB "PROVISIONAL". Not knowing what it was then
I traded one in not so good condition to Mr. Philip Liao in the mid-1980's,
a noted Manila coin collector. Several years later while in the process
of preparing the Aguinaldo collection of Fritz-Walter Lange I went back
to Mr. Liao to try to get back the cover. Unfortunately I was told that
it was among other pieces he traded for a few coins to another local collector.
I have long considered Lange's Aguinaldo collection as an outstanding one
but the above type was not in his collection. He had the TypeIIA but on
