This lot really
caught my attention. Front bearing a 2-4/8c Alfonso XIII issue tied with
Philippine Revolutionary Government "COMUNICACIONES FILIPINAS / TUGUEGARAO"
official seal cancel. Dated on verso LAL-LOC, MAYO 29 / 1919. Three Philippine
philatelic eras represented by this card: USPI period postal card, Spanish
Philippines adhesive and Aguinaldo period seal cancel.
I guess
there will be several opinions on whether this card passed to the mail
system. Personally I believe it did not. Most likely this card placed inside
an envelope and mailed to Brazil. The view is common. Highly collectable
as a novelty and nothing else. (eBay US$ 37.00)
