PROVISIONAL. Handstamped reads "GOBIERNO REGIONAL / REVOLU- CIONARIO
/ DE BISAYAS / BOHOL", triangular shape identical to the official seal
of the Bohol Provisional Government. I believe that this is a bogus overprint,
copied from the official seal of Cantonal Government.
The Cantonal
Government of Bohol was established in August 1898, and remained in
control of the entire Island until late 1899, or about a year after Spain
