Many times over. --- My reaction when I saw the two Federal State of the
Visayas / Cebu covers of Dr. Tommy Sim. Upon close scrutiny it is obvious
that the covers and the other two in the David Chiong collection
originated from the same person. Likewise, the three cut squares that passed
through my hands and a 4th in the Dr. Sim collection have the same penmanship
characteristics.
Without
doubt, the covers are commercial in nature. The question now is: how many
more exist? When the first two surfaced in 2000, I considered them gems
of Philippine philately. Now with four existing (my own count), I still
deemed them to gems, and truly rare.
